This government is making countless sectors flourish:
Vice-Chancellor make-up artist, Marxist media coach, state-funded anti-fascist and opposition critic, climate and COâ‚‚ tax activist (also state-funded), debt advisor, social worker, Ukraine mercenary, etc.
Yes, inflationary pressure can only be fought through wages. Cheaper energy or lower sales taxes are out of the question. The state needs every cent!
One can really only appeal to the, uh, sense of responsibility of the social partners. The metalworkers will remain highly dedicated and productive even for less money. And if one or another ÖVP politician rants about “lifestyle part-time work” or increasing decadence, that will be more than enough.
Or maybe not. Taking on debt always works anyway. If necessary, the hard-working Asians will send their surpluses to the Western carnival princes. For all eternity.
